Boutique

Atonement's Holiday Boutique has been an annual event since1972 always on the first Saturday in November. It takes a congregation and community to be successful for 39 years!

It takes a congregation with creativity and fellowship to bake, sew, paint, saw, knit, roll pie crust and lefse, attend workshops, serve, greet and more.

And it takes a community of new folks and many we recognize that return every year to find those certain things that are just right for their holiday entertaining, practical use and gift giving. Our families, friends and neighbors come early for warm caramel rolls, later for lunch of homemade soups and to browse and purchase reasonably priced items.

A follow-up committee welcomes input regarding proceeds disbursement. Past purchases include new windows, carpet, kitchen equipment, music and quilting supplies, retreat scholarships and office furniture. These big and the many smaller items address needs as well as improve and enhance this welcome place for members and visitors. Each year a certain amount is allotted for mission work and charitable giving beyond our crossroads corner.

Mark your calendars for November 1, 2014, as we aspire to build relationships within the church and surrounding communities.
